Located on the Virginia Creek, guests can enjoy fishing and fish-cleaning facilities at this lodge. A restaurant is on site, offering breakfast and dinner. Guest rooms feature free Wi-Fi. A variety of lodging experiences are available. From authentic western covered wagons to creek side cottages that offer a kitchenette. Traditional rooms are heated with modern amenities such television and mini fridges, as well as private bathrooms. If guests prefer a more natural experience, tents are available for rent. All tents are unheated and us a shared restroom facility at the Virginia Creek Settlement. Picnic tables, fire pits, and raised barbeque stands are available for guest use at the Settlement Virginia Creek. The famed John Wayne has also stayed in this rustic lodge. Bridgeport is less than 10 minutes’ drive from the property. Mono Lake is 20 minutes’ drive away and Bodie Ghost Town is 14 miles from the lodge. Mountain passes are subject to storm closure, and highways 89, 108, 120, and 270 are subject to seasonal closures. Winter driving conditions requiring chains or 4 wheel drive are possible. You are responsible for understanding the road and weather conditions. Cancellations due to road conditions and weather are subject to the 48 hour cancellation policy. All tents are not heated. Bedding for tents are available at an additional charge. If arriving after 19:00 hours, please contact property for check-in arrangements. Guest will be required to provide a valid credit card upon check-in. $50 will be authorized upon check-in for incidentals, and will be released upon check-out.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in.
