The Aberdeen Altens Hotel is 3 miles from the city centre and just 1 mile from the coast. The Altens has modern rooms with en suite bathrooms and boasts a sauna, spa and indoor pool. Each room has a satellite TV, hairdryer and work desk. Wireless internet is available throughout the hotel and parking is available at the cost of £3.00 per night. Many fitness facilities are available at the on-site health and leisure club. There is also a gym and steam room on offer. Located south of Aberdeen, Royal Deeside is within easy reach. Duthie Park and Nigg Bay Golf Club are both within a 10-minute drive of the building. Children under the age of 5 enjoy breakfast free of charge. For children between 6 and 12 years old, breakfast costs GBP 5. For children 17 years old, breakfast costs GBP 12. Prices are per child per day. Please note children are welcome to use the leisure facilities, but those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The adult must be in the pool with them and a maximum of two children per adult. Pool opening times for children under 16 are Monday – Thursday 07:00 – 19:30, Friday – Sunday unlimited. Access to the Health Club and swimming pool are complimentary but not guaranteed, if the pool is at capacity. Please note last entry to the Health & Leisure club is one hour before closing. Childrens meals are not included, and additional charges apply, payable to the hotel directly.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
