It was as described Could be better: Hotel restaurant below par. Noisy air conditioning in room. Spa beside pool was unclean. Everything else ok, I think for the money the standard was fine.

Liked: The staff were so friendly and friendly. The hotel grounds were amazing, and the permaculture garden and wormery were not things I realised when booking, but were so interesting and a lovely surprise. The restaurant was really nice and the staff made recommendations on local dishes they liked, which meant I tried delicious foods that I might not have otherwise. The pool area was so calm and the location was great for walking down to the beach and a short walk to the restaurants, as well as the aquarium and Universal Studios. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great air con which was very appreciated after walking around in the heat all day. Could be better: The shower could have been a little warmer and maybe a hand towel for the basin would have been nice, but aside from that I can't really fault anything else!
