Liked: The location is great Could be better: Generally the hotel is very catered towards tourists and kind of mimics everything that a proper japanese Ryokan would have but in a cheaper and worse way. The onsen is not very welcoming without light etc., the Yukatas looked like cheap Pyjamas and the lobby follows that pattern.
Also, the check in procedure took significantly too long (about 45 minutes for reading everyone through a sheet that could have been attached to a mail).
Some of the staff members were nice, others weren't. Also definitely not up to the standard I would expect from a japanese Hotel.
