The Lancaster University campus lies to the west of the M6 and the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The city itself offers attractions including Lancaster Castle, St Peter’s Cathedral, Lancaster City Museum, Williamson Park, The Grand Theatre and a Vue Cinema. There is also a varied selection of restaurants and bars in the city centre. There are great transport links to the city centre from the university including regular buses and a taxi rank on campus. Morecambe is within 20-minute drive away, which has views across the bay. Guests can visit the beach, the Eric Morecambe Statue and Happy Mount Park. The accommodation is a 10-minute drive from Lancaster train station, which offers easy access to Manchester, Liverpool and London, as well as The Lake District. Please note, the Guest Rooms are around a 5 minute walk away from the main Reception desk.
