Yellowknife is 20 minutes away by scheduled bush plane. A rustic interior with wooden décor is featured in each simply furnished guest unit at Blachford Lake Lodge. Guest rooms offer electric heating, whereas cottages are equipped with a fireplace. Guests can enjoy lake or forest views. A variety of fresh fish, beef and chicken are featured in daily, homemade meals. Fresh, seasonal vegetables include lettuce and other greens grown on site. Please note, this property is only accessible by bush plane. There are no roads to Blachford Lake Lodge. There are specific, scheduled times for the departure of the bush plane from Yellowknife to Blachford Lake Lodge only. Departure days are as follows: Wednesday for a 2 or 5 night stay, Friday for a 2 or 5 night stay, Sunday for a 5 night stay. Any other days on request only.
