A beachfront property, Angsana Velavaru offers 3 restaurants with water villas and private pools on Velavaru Island (Turtle Island). It is a 45-minute Seaplane ride from Malé International Airport. Angsana Velavaru is a family friendly resort, and has an indoor and outdoor kids’ club, which offers a wide variety of activities including babysitting services. All In-Ocean villas are built apart from the island by the house reefs. Each In-ocean is 2 stories high, spacious and each has an infinity pool. All beach villas are equipped with modern amenities such as outdoor rain shower, TV, coffee & tea making facilities, electric kettle, bedroom and outdoor slippers and a bathrobe. All villas have direct access to the the ocean. Wi-fi is available throughout the island. The watersports and dive centre offers free rental of snorkeling equipment, guided snorkeling trips, , glass bottom kayaking, whale shark excursions, stingray feeding, dive trips and night fishing trips are available. Angsana Velavaru is also equipped with a Padi 5 Star Gold Palm Dive centre. The resort also houses its own marine laboratory. Angsanas chefs serve a wide variety of local and international cuisines. Maldivian cuisine, fresh seafood and international dishes are served at the resorts three restaurants. It’s iconic Funa restaurant, serves a fresh lobster dinner. For additional dining, guests are able to book a destination dining experience, an in-villa dining experience, or a floating breakfast. Guests can relax with Angsanas award-winning spa with treatments and therapies. The property can be reached by a private and a shared seaplane. Private Seaplane Transfers: From June 19, 2025 to August 31, 2026 the charges are as follows: - Adult (12 years and above): USD 6500 per person for the standard aircraft, and USD 8500 per person for the VIP aircraft. - Child (2–11 years): USD 6500 per child for the standard aircraft, and USD 8500 per child for the VIP aircraft. This rate is not included in the booking price and will be charged additionally. Shared Seaplane Transfers: From June 19, 2025 to January 31, 2026 the charges are as follows: - Adult (12 years and above): USD 555 per person. - Child (2–11 years): USD 350 per child. This rate is not included in the booking price and will be charged additionally. - Infant (0–2 years): Free of cost. From February 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026 the charges are as follows: - Adult (12 years and above): USD 580 per person. - Child (2–11 years): USD 365 per child. This rate is not included in the booking price and will be charged additionally. - Infant (0–2 years): Free of cost. The property can be reached by seaplane. Passengers can conveniently find our airport counter at Zone A - counter 16. These transfers will be facilitated via seaplane flights through a third-party company. This service is available for flights landing between 06:00 and 15:30. The seaplane journey typically takes around 45 minutes, followed by a 5-minute speedboat ride to reach the resorts main island or InOcean Villas. While the resort assists in booking seaplane transfers, please note that the resort does not have control over scheduling and departure timings, which can be subject to changes due to weather conditions.
